From times it looks like defeat, yet it ends in triumph. Come on along..... hold on to your seat cause there will be many bumps on this roller coaster ride. We tried many places to get one from no credit bad credit places to you name it. We had about 800.00 to put down on a vehicle. Our credit is totally ruined since this house ordeal so we were turned down so many times for a vehicle. However, either way we were going to rent a vehicle to get us there if we didn't buy one.<br />
<br />
On the way to look for a vehicle, Chris called the attorney's for Wells Fargo and told the person who answered who he was and our case number. He told them we would be at the court hearing on the 29th and to have a court reporter present. We weren't about to go without a reporter, even if there was a special referee hearing the case. The guy said ok. It wasn't long and we were sitting there talking to a guy about a car we liked and the phone rang. Chris answers it and it's the attorney's office. The guy told Chris our court hearing for the 29th had been cancelled due to FEMA being in town due to the flooding in Columbia, SC. So Chris said ok and hung up the phone. A few days later, Chris called the attorney's office and told them he was just confirming that our court hearing had been cancelled. They said yes.<br />
<br />
Since we didn't have to hurry to get a vehicle so we could get down to SC for the hearing, we decided to take our time looking around for a vehicle. Besides, we couldn't look except for when my kids were off of work because we had to rely on them to take us to look for a vehicle. We were stuck at the house, no friends to take us places we needed to go and we relied heavily on our daughter and her boyfriend to take us when they were not working. We were thankful! We learned one thing though... you sure know who your friends are and you reap what you sew in life, and... the best part.. G-d will never leave us in a place he won't provide for us, as he did us!<br />

Those numbers really didn't mean anything to me except it seemed strange that my post ended with a triple digit number. Again, I have no knowledge of what those numbers could mean. However, I decided to type in "Number 444" on Google just to see what came up. Here is the website I chose to look at... for no apparent reason either.<br />
<br />
http://sacredscribesangelnumbers.blogspot.com/2011/09/angel-number-444.html<br />
<br />
What really stuck out in this article was this part.<br />
<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: medium;"><br /></span>
<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: medium;">The repeating Angel Number 444 is a message that ‘all is well’. Trust that you are on your correct life path and are doing a great job. <b><a href="http://bodysoulmind.net/guidance-from-the-angels" style="color: #7d181e; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">The angels and Archangels are </a></b></span><span style="color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: medium;"><b><a href="http://bodysoulmind.net/guidance-from-the-angels" style="color: #7d181e; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">available for help and guidance</a></b> - all you need to do is ask.</span><br />
<br style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Tahoma, Helvetica, FreeSans, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;" />
<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif; font-size: 13px; line-height: 18.2px;">Number 444 relates to <a href="http://numerology-thenumbersandtheirmeanings.blogspot.com/2011/02/number-3.html" style="color: #7d181e; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">number 3</a> (4+4+4=12, 1+2=3) and <a href="http://sacredscribesangelnumbers.blogspot.com/2011/06/angel-number-3.html" style="color: #7d181e; text-decoration: none;" target="_blank">Angel Number 3</a>. </span><br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
See the bottom part here where it says 444 relates to number 4 then the calculations and Angel Number 3? That just about blew my mind!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Summary: I had just been writing about my experience with the number 3 on my front steps and how G-d had told me to tell the devil this is my house 3 times. And my post ended at 4:44am.... and looking up the number 444 brought me to see that the number 444 relates to the number 3.<br />
<br />
What I got out of all of that was... I need to not question anymore if I am on the right track or if G-d is working it all out for me, or if he is really listening. The last part of the mesage on that page that speaks about trusting that I am on the correct path and doing a great job, spoke volumes to me. Yes, I believe he is listening and he has it all worked out for me.<br />
<br />
Stay Tuned! </div>

<span style="font-family: "verdana" , sans-serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span></div>
<div>
After a long 3 years, we have a Summary Judgment foreclosure hearing on Thursday. It's so hard to sit here and think about losing my home in SC. The home I raised my children in. The one I went into bankruptcy over twice just to save it while Chris was sick with cancer. What a struggle to keep it. Then, what a struggle it was to get someone to fix the home, after finding out the home had been burned by someone, not an accidental fire at all. It's hard to know what G-ds will is when you know what you heard him say, what you said out loud... what he told you to say... And so that my reader may know what I am saying, I will share that part with you.<br />
<br />
The year was 2005. I was out walking on the property nearby which is family owned. We have a 3/4 mile tract of land I would walk or run on. It made a big circle around the perimeter of my home and the clay pits that surrounded the area. I had been talking to G-d this particular day. I had been asking him how it was that I went through a bankruptcy and now was about to go back into another one. I managed to make it to the front of my house as I had walked that 3/4 miles and I sat on the front steps. As I sat there, I heard a voice say to me, "Move down one step". I didn't question it, I just moved down one step. As I did, I counted the steps and I was sitting on the 3rd step. As I sat there and sobbed, and looked out towards my front yard, I heard the L-rd say, "Sonja, what do you see"? I immediately said, "I don't see anything". I then heard him say, "Oh, but Sonja, what do you see"? I said, "L-rd, I don't see anything, no flowers and trees, I guess I never really felt like it was mine". I then heard him say, "Sonja, tell the devil, this is MY house". I opened up my mouth without even thinking about this and said, "Devil, this is MY house"! What seemed like just a few seconds had gone by, I heard him say again, "Tell the devil, this is My house". I then in return said again, "Devil this is MY House"! I got to thinking, no-one could really hear me because no-one was home. My husband had went to the dump to take the trash off. I then for the 3rd time hear him say, "Tell the devil this is MY house". With everything in my heart mind and my soul, I screamed to the tip top of my lungs, "Devil, this is MY house"! It was so loud, it seemed my inner spirit screamed it and there was an echo coming from the woods in front of the house there as the scream escaped my lips.<br />
<br />
About the time it was said for the 3rd time, I seen my husband pulling up in the yard. I walked around to tell him what had just happened to me. I said, you know, there is something about that number three. I sat on the 3rd step and he had me tell the devil three times "Devil this is My house". I said, I am going to go get my Bible and see what this means. I left him there in the yard and walked in to get my Bible. I knew it was back on the hamper in the bathroom where I had left it so I was determined to go get it and start looking up some stuff. As I came out of my bathroom, there laying on my bed in the bedroom was some Easter baskets I had put there along with candy in preparation of fixing up the kids some baskets. I paused there a few moments and fixed the baskets as I didn't want the kids to walk in and see them. When I was finished I walked back in to my living room. As I did, I heard the L-rd say, "The Father, Son and Holy Ghost is after them". To this day, I have no idea who they are after. I don't know who the "Them" is he was speaking of. I don't know if it's the bank, or my brother or what after what he has done to me.<br />
<br />
I've hung on all those years thinking something was going to happen that the house would be mine. I ended up going into that bankruptcy anyway to save the house. But later we would learn our attorney had been disbarred and could not even practice law after we had paid him. We never got our money back from him either. We represented our own selves and the judge was mean and didn't want to hear anything at all from us, even though we were left without representation. And then, sometime after that we were late making one of the bankruptcy payments and they wanted to foreclose on the house again. This time we learned there was a way to just pay our way out of that bankruptcy. So we started making payments on the house of 1540.00 a month for 18 months. I do not know how we did that but G-d sure helped us get it paid. And here we are, in 2015 about to lose the home because after all of that, over 20 years ago my brother had surveyed his property along with us having ours done, my dad said to let my brother handle it. Little did we all know, he surveyed all the way up to my back steps. It wasn't until after the fire that an attorney friend of mine pointed it out on my plat of land that I did not even own my back yard like I thought and like the appraisal said as a part of the closing documents on our loan. No place for a well as the whole front yard is no more than septic lines across it. This is a mean old story... I have video that shows my brother cussing us out, telling us he will not give us water and to get our own well... and if you read the whole story, you will find that he kept my water off while we lived in our burned home, refusing to give us water, as the well that fed my home for years was on his property, not ours. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
As to not repeat the story about the fire, I'll stop there with that part. We asked Wells Fargo for a Hamp loan. We were turned down, but turned down over the phone. They didn't even put it in writing. Turned us down because they said there was no well on the property. Well, no duh! They are not worried about us. They will just take the house, and will collect the insurance money on it, and then try to sell it again in hopes someone will not make payment and foreclose on the property again and collect insurance money. They can't even prove they own my loan as of yet because it's not filed in the Deeds and Titles books... It still shows the past Servicer... So who really owns my loan is still yet to be proven. I may lose, but if I do, I'll just go to school to learn how to help others NOT lose their homes like this. If you could see my home now... Wells Fargo supplied Forced place home owners insurance on our property when we were in bankruptcy. We were told because of the bankruptcy we would have to keep it. However we got a few holes in our roof and the insurance adjuster said it was not covered under the policy because we tried to fix it. Well, Wells Fargo said to do what we could to prevent any further damage so we put down that black tar looking paper for one thing until we could get the adjuster out there. So now, there is two big holes in my roof and mold throughout the walls. We could not even stay in the house very long that we didn't want to pass out. It was just awful! The home is still beautiful and I still want my home. We could never come to a resolution as to how to live in it without water and no place to put a well. Surely the Title Policy would have covered this. Oh, that's something else our closing attorney did not bother making a meaningful offer as to "Why we needed to get this". Wells Fargo has a Title Policy and they could have done something but instead, they would rather take the house.<br />
<br />
That's just some of the story. The attorney's are blaming this whole thing on a family issue. The problem with that is, If I would have purchased this property and home and this was NOT my brother, then what? The homeowner would still own the well in which the Appraisal says we owned a well and 2 septic systems. Oh yea, the second septic system became my brothers as well, once he stole the property. Yea, there is alot to this story. No attorney would help us, we just didn't have enough money to fight. I'll find another way to fight back, hopefully helping someone else save their home!<br />
<br />
As for what G-d said to me... I have no clue why this happened and here after all these years, someone tried to burn it and didn't succeed.. but it's apparent that we certainly may not keep it now either. I guess I'll soon learn what the end of this chapter is. What I do know is, this isn't fair at all!<br />

I found a few to look at on Craigslist so we called about this one which was a cabin on top of a mountain. It was only 2 BR 1 BA but decided to go look. I've always loved log cabins. We called and guy told us to come on up. And... boy did we go up! Up this steep hill and once up, took a right and went up some more. Chris was really freaking out! He didn't like this at all... I thought it was quite funny and asked if he thought I should drive next time. We stopped at the cabin we thought was the place and a man shouted and told us to park in the drive where he was. He was working on the cabin. His wife had told me this already in an email, so I wasn't surprised. It was beautiful log cabin. Nice front porch. First thing I noticed was the washing machine hook up in the kitchen. It used to be an overnight rental. I hated that part! No laundry room at all? And in the kitchen? I didn't say anything though, just listened to the guy talk. He wanted 750.00 a month. First and last months rent and 100.00 deposit for the pets. Wasn't a bad price I guess, but the rooms were small... no closet space at all. The only thing it had going for it as far as being a very useful place was the back porch where I could throw clay, but it was not enclosed :( It was funny listening to this guy. He told us to look around at other places but we'd be back! We filled out the application and we met his wife. She said it would be Sunday before she could run our credit as they didn't have internet up there. That was another thing I wondered about.. I can't do without internet. So we talked a while to them... met the neighbor guy too.. he was really nice too. Found out he moved there and wasn't even in his cabin yet but had already paid and reserved the cabin. This man had bought a few cabins and was fixing them all up. <br />
<br />
Well... we weren't crazy about that ride back down the driveway... all of us felt like this wasn't the house for us. <br />
<br />Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-59748362829395116232012-10-03T20:00:00.000-04:002013-03-10T23:41:16.838-04:00Secoond Day House HuntingAs excited as I was, I was just too tired to get up and go too fast. Somewhere around 2:00 we got out the condo and decided to go look at this house I had been talking to a guy about. It was a one story rancher about 1000sq ft. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. It had 15 acres and a nearby stream, close to the lake and an advertised fenced in ring for animals. It also had a basement.<br />
<br />
When we arrived, Austin and I were totally disappointed. The house looked so much smaller than it did in the picture. We called the guy since he worked nearby and want us to call when we got there. By then, Austin and I had checked out the fenced in place in the back yard. The grass was not cut at all and was very unimpressive to me. He got there and showed us around the house and the first thing I noticed was the stove was missing. We'd have to buy a stove. When asked who lived in the home before, he said he did and had just moved out, hence the reason the stove was probably missing.<br />
<br />
He took us to the basement and showed us around. It was really nice, then we found out we were in a county that didn't allow signs out on the roads by the driveways. He offered a very small place in town the size of an office for Chris to setup the sign shop but I let him know it would take more than a tiny office space to work a sign business. When asked about the rent, he let me know it was a month to month, no lease... It was 850.00 per month ... first and last months rent and a per pet deposit of 250.00 each.<br />
<br />
Chris and Austin wanted to take a walk through the wooded area to the pond which was on the property so they did... I tried to go with them but the high weeds were eating up my legs as I had on capri pants and flip flops! I told them I would just stay near the truck. The pond consisted of a very small place with water in it and surrounded by lots of trees. Austin said it was pathetic! Although it was pathetic, they really wanted that house because they wanted it to hunt on. I immediately was not happy from the moment we got there seeing the house was so small and later learning it was a month to month... well... that did me in... that was NOT the house for us! I mean, he could have gotten all that money up front, rented it and then threw us out and there would not be an agreement. Forget that... I wasn't born yesterday! I think we've been through so much now we can't afford to take chances with people... if your family will mess you over, just think what others will do! <br />
Here is a pic of the house<br />
<br />

<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
After we left there, I had another one on my list. It was a home I had seen on Craigslist and there was a video of it. It is 4BR 2 Baths Fireplace, garage which had been closed in and looked like a Florida room. We looked at this one... the guy told us where to find the key. I really liked this house. The only thing is, it had a very steep drive and Chris surprisingly didn't like that part. I laughed cause I'm the one with the scared of heights thing going on. It had a nice wrap around porch on it too. But the view really was of the woods. I'm sure once all the leaves fell, well... there would be a view. The guy was very nice to us on the phone. He had an application he wanted us to fill out. Chris explained our credit situation with the past bankruptcies and he said, fill it out anyway cause they look at things differently. I really liked the house. It had two rooms which could have been used for my pottery room and sewing room, but then there was no room for me to set up the sign shop. I still would have loved it. It was 950.00 a month. A little more expensive than I planned on. So we left and called it a day... went and got something to eat and went back to the condo. (Forgot to take some pics of it)<br />
<br />
What an interesting day! No luck on finding a house yet. Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-44332073180397263272012-10-02T22:30:00.000-04:002013-03-10T23:39:22.993-04:00Looking for a house in TNToday is the big day.. Oct 2, 2012. We decided to take us a trip to Gatlinburg, TN and stay a few days there while we look for a house. We rented a condo on ITEX barter and will stay a few days while we are looking. We didn't arrive here until around 10:30pm. That seems to be the magic time for us getting to TN anymore... can't seem to get out the house in the early mornings hours so we can get here on time. We stopped in Spartanburg at Firestone where Cayce works and got our oil changed in the truck. Cayce was not working but he got us a huge discount on the oil change. We had hoped to visit with him on the way through but since we were late getting on the road, we decided to get the oil change and go on.<br />
<br />
One reason we were late getting out of here is Chris had done a huge job for Brenda and Nate at Tommies Auto and Diesel. We were told the sign was bending up on one side, so Chris and Austin went and fixed it. We are so thankful for this job. It was enough money for us to go on this trip and even have money for a down payment on renting a home up there if we find one. <br />
<br />
So it's 10:30pm.. too tired to do anything, so we'll see what tomorrow brings! Hopefully something good!<br />
Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-53518212862006475802011-03-05T23:09:00.000-05:002013-02-06T13:13:04.876-05:00Update on UsI'm not sure where to start.... since I have alot of back dating to do and lots to still write about. My computer jack went out so I had to get another laptop. I don't like this cheapy as much as I liked my other one. They are having a hard time getting a part for it so I don't know when I will ever get it back. The bad thing is it held a lot of my notes about our life. So sad I didn't back up my drive. I didn't expect anything like this to happen and not be able to fix it though.<br />
<br />
So for now... here goes!<br />
Taylor will finish school June 11th. We are excited about this and she hopes to get into Cosmetology school right here in town. She has a boyfriend and is planning to go to his prom the end of this month, so it's a time of looking for a prom dress :) She was diagnosed with Diabetes back in July 4th 2010 and she has been trying to watch her diet to keep her sugar down. She drinks lots of pickle juice and according to the doctor, whatever she is doing they want her to keep doing it. Her blood test were recently good. We are still trusting G-d for a healing for her and I know she is too :) She just turned 18 might I mention and she thinks she is already grown up. Boy do I remember thinking the same thing at 18... boy was I wrong. I believe that's when all my troubles started. Taylor has been an awesome young lady. She has just started to go places with her boyfriend. I have been trying to teach both my children the difference between courting and dating. I tell them the day they ask me to go out on a date with someone is when they are telling me they have met someone that they could live with the rest of their lives. She hasn't asked to date yet.. but she has asked to go bowling with him and we let her ride with him there, so I guess that is sorta like a date, huh? We love her and we are proud of the young woman she is becoming. Well, that's it for an update on her for now :)<br />
<br />
Austin is bored!(You'll read that statement almost any given time on his Facebook Status) Anyone who knows Austin knows he is so laid back. I recently put a Potter's Wheel on layaway for him and I to learn how to throw clay. I took some lessons recently on "Pinch Pots". I tried to get him to take some too, but he wouldn't. He say's, "Mom, you take the lessons and come home and teach me". When asked what he is going to do when he gets out of school, his answer is, "Be a farmer". I tell him farming is a HARD job... so he better get started getting up early, cause farmers have to do that. He has very few friends. We don't go very many places anymore so he doesn't really get the opportunity to make many friends. But even if he did, I'd still be strict about where he went. I will always be that way with my children as things are just not the same as they were when I was growing up. In fact, this town we live in is so bad, you'd not really trust your child to even go into a department store by themselves, if you really cared about your child. I am funny with Taylor as well, although she is 18. He skipped the 8th grade and is in 9th this year. He is having a tough time with Algebra so I am about to get him a tutor. He is a very sweet young man though... I love him very much and I'm proud of the young man he is becoming :)<br />
<br />
My oldest is Cayce. He just turned 25. We just celebrated his birthday at home here. He lives in Spartanburg, SC. I don't get to see Cayce very often cause he works for Firestone. He works alot and doesn't get to come home often nor do I get to go up there too often. He has a good career with Firestone and he recently bought himself a house. He will be going to the closing sometime in March. We are very proud of Cayce. He went to college 4 years and never came back to live here. He seen much potential there and has made a good life for himself. He has a beautiful girlfriend of about 5/6 years now and I think wedding bells will be ringing soon. She has been to nursing school for 4 years now. She will graduate this year. We are proud of her as well. I really miss my son... and I wish I lived closer. Someday I hope to live up there closer to him and enjoy holding some grand children. For now he says he will get married and wait a few years. Wise Choice, I'd say :) He also is into race cars and has one of his own he is about to put on the track. I'll sure be doing a whole lot more praying for him :) I love him very much and I'm very proud to be his moma, he turned out to be an awesome child :) That's the update on Cayce.<br />

As for Chris... he was recently diagnosed with Arthritis in his legs and is now on medicine. I feel so badly watching him in pain. The medicine seems to be helping but then during the day he gets these feelings like he is going to throw up and gets fatigued. I think he needs to talk to the doctor about a new medicine, but he says it takes a while to get into your system. I hope something is going to help him. I can hardly sleep with him now and I have to sleep on the couch many nights cause he can't keep his legs still. Oh, he has restless leg syndrome so that is the other problem. During the day you can find him working on small projects. He recently got himself a scroll saw, built himself a table to put it on and he is looking to make some wirligigs (I probably spelled that wrong). He has been building some shelves for me for my sewing room, and has recently made me a new table for my new Janome Horizon 7700QCP. It's a really nice table and we ordered a table top for it to match my room. He really enjoys wood working. I am happy he does, everyone needs a hobby. Between him and I, the kids should be multi talented and never bored! I'll post a few pics soon of his work. He is a wonderful husband and I think he would do anything in the world for me :) I'm lucky!<br />
<br />
As for me... I've been playing around with Clay. I've been learning how to do "Pinch Pots". That is making a bowl using your hands and fingers. It's been so much fun. I need a kiln now so I can fire our pieces but that will have to wait. I do have a Potters Wheel on layaway as I mentioned above and hope to get that soon so Austin and I both can get started on throwing clay. It's such a relaxing thing to do and I was looking for things to do with my hands that would relax me. I've been having problems with anxiety in my sleep. Last night was the first night I have slept over 5 hours in about 2 mos. Could be pre-menopause (geez, I couldn't even spell it w/o the spell checker, hehe) . I've been on the C25K program for 4 weeks now. I've lost around 12 pds since Jan 28th. I was learning to really watch my carbs and now I am being bad. I need to get back doing that again. I also have been drinking vinegar, water and honey. You can read about the effects of drinking this at <a href="http://www.bragg.com/">www.bragg.com</a> . This is a raw vinegar and the honey I use is raw as well. I believe it has kept me from being sore after a run cause I've not had to worry about being sore since I started. I have also learned about doing oil pulling. The mouth is said to be the culprit for many diseases we get in our bodies and doing oil pulling gets out a lot of bacteria from our mouths before it goes in. It is said to make your teeth white, get rid of an abscess tooth (which a friend of mine testifies to), makes you sleep better, and so much more. You can read about it at <a href="http://www.oilpulling.org/oil-pulling/">http://www.oilpulling.org/oil-pulling/</a> . I've basically been trying to learn how to feel better by the means of natural things that G-d made and intended on us to use.<br />
I got a new sewing machine about 2 mos ago and I'm busy trying to organize all my fabrics so the room is not messy and I can find my fabrics, lol. I love my machine and appreciate my hubby getting it for me. It's sure going to make Quilting a whole lot easier. Well, that's it for now... I'll update again soon :)<br />

On the way, we stopped off in Gatlinburg, TN. We stayed at the <a href="http://www.gcmngt.com/">Gatlinburg Condo Management</a> in Gatlinburg. That night we went to dinner at the <a href="http://smithfamilytheater.com/">The Smith Family Dinner Theatre</a> . The Condo and the Dinner theatre was on barter. The entertainment was excellent, the food was awesome and the condo was just as nice as it always is. This was the first stop. See Stop 2. <br />

There were still a few things I was not satisfied with, but Chris went back over the house and gave them the go ahead that they were finished. I don't think they did 16000.00 worth of work, but.. my husband told them to fix the house as cheap as possible cause we were gonna rent it out. I do not know why he would tell a contractor that when if he did rent it out, and something messed up, he still would have to fix it!!! Oh well....<br />
<br />
Here are the pics of the house, after they started fixing it. <br />

<br />
We lived in the house for about 3 mos before we finally found someone to fix the house. The insurance company depreciated everything they could and didn't give us much to fix the house. As you could have imagined, we were getting very hot here in the summer living in the house, so we rented a nice one bedroom camper from a friend of mines boyfriend for 300.00 a month. We lived there for 3 mos.<br />
<br />
We continued to fetch water from a pond so we could flush the toilet. One day, Taylor looked at me and said, "Moma, one day everyone will have to go through this and when it happens again, at least it won't be a strange thing that has happened to us, as we have had to do it before. I thought, wow.... this was so true!<br />
<br />
Taylor and her boyfriend broke up sometime before we got the camper. Things seemed to get quieter around here. My brothers g/friend ran off with a preachers kid, and she married him. What an answer to prayer that seemed like. <br />
<br />
The day the contractors came to work on our house is the day my brother finally turned the water back on. He kept telling my nephew that he turned it back on but he had not. Then we heard he had told my nephew to turn the valve on. Turns out that my nephew wasn't doing it right. So that's how we got water that day.<br />
<br />
During this time, we went to a few lawyers. We found out my brother could not legally turn off the water. Because it had been years that his well had supplied our home and we had put money into that well, then he can not legally turn it off. As far as the land was concerned, there was nothing we could do about that cause my dad signed the papers, thinking he was signing one thing and it was another, thanks to my brother.<br />
<br />
<br />
Since at this point, I am back dating, I will probably have to come back periodically and edit this post with new information that somehow I forgot, since so much has went on.Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-30275947752958218702010-05-14T23:00:00.002-04:002010-12-15T01:42:12.741-05:00Found 2 Green Emerald looking rings today<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
My things are packed up on a truck now,
except for a few pieces of fabric I have in a bag and my machine I
have here in the camper. So for now, unless I need to send a block to
someone in need, I don't sew. I really miss it so much. Instead of
getting depressed over it, I deciced I would just go to the next
hobby so I can keep busy!!!! So metal detecting it is!!! So
along the way I have been praying so hard about where my family is to
move to. I haven't told many this cause I haven't had time to do so.
3 nights ago I dreamed I was walking along in the sand and found
about 3 or 4 rings. So the next day I was thinking about this dream
and I decided to go. I packed the kids up and we went metal
detecting on Hilton Head Island (1.5 hrs away) on Wednesday and about
sundown I found my first ring for the day. I had been praying, "L-rd,
every time I find a ring, it belongs to someone else and I have to
return it". Well, I looked in my sand scoop and what do I find?
"A 14kt gold ring with 5 emerald cut stones in it. Oh it's so
pretty I thought!!! I put that baby in my pocket and called the kids
over to look at it. At first I had thought it had diamonds in it.
Then.... not even 5 minutes later, another ring! This one had a green
stone as well. It was a girls middle school class ring with an
emerald stone. Oh my I thought.. Green again??? It's NOT my favorite
color although it's pretty I guess. I found initials in that ring so
I will be returning this one as well. That will be fun!! Then another
ring I found was probably not real..... it was silver looking and was
very worn looking but had black stones in it. I had an awesome
day girl!</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
So yesterday..... after seeing a
lawyer, my husband and I stopped at the beach where I found the Gold
Citadel Military ring, (which by the way, I found out last night from
my cousin who knows them, that they are wealthy people. They own alot
of strip clubs here, imagine that, LOL. Not looking for a reward
though, just wanna give it back) and as we walked and swung the
detectors, I said, "Any luck"? He said, "NO".
I said, "keep swinging and have a little more faith.... this
will make it grow". About 15 minutes later, I heard him
calling my name. I went back to see what he found and lo and
behold.... a beautiful silver .925 necklace and pendant. Can you
guess what color the large stone was? Yep, "Green"!!! Now,
here I am asking, "L-rd, what does Green mean"?
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
On the way home I was telling my MDing
buddy on the phone about this and she says, "Sonj... I was
thinking about all the green you have been finding and I think G-d is
trying to tell you and your family something". I said, "Yes,
the color green means, GO". lol She says "Well,
I researched Greenville, SC (this is where we talked about moving to
and told her we were going to go and setup our business)and I found
out they have emerald and diamond mines there". Her phone
started dying so we hung up and she was gonna call me back when she
got home. As we were riding along... I about scared Chris to
death!!!! I shouted, OH MY GOSH..... GREENVILLE!!!!! That is what she
was tying to say.... G-d is saying go to GREENVILLE, SC, LOL. I
said, the color GREEN is in Grenville!! This was so funny cause when
SHE was telling me this, the color green to me was still about GO....
I didn't think about the color Green in the City Greenville!
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
So now we are convinced we are to go to
the city of Greenville. I know it sounds crazy but I believe in
praying about where and what I am to do. This takes longer sometimes
but... G-d is never late :) So we will see how this journey
begins. We are looking for a house while we are waiting on the
insurance check to come in to fix this one. We aren't getting much to
fix the house so we are going with bare minimums and we will Rent
this one out. In the meantime, after such a huge mess with my family,
we are still not talking to anyone. Still toting water to the toilet
to flush. We are making it though...... that's the important thing,
right? Anyway, I am learning how to live and NOT be depressed cause
this situation is ONLY temporary!!!</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
On another note..... Today we put 2 new
tires on my car. This is the third time we have bought tires in 2
years. The car is practically NEW and has a tow in problem. We are
gonna have to fight with FORD next it looks like :( Gosh, it would
be nice to catch a break!</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Update on Sleep- I've been sleeping better lately :) </div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-22920752695136439592010-05-13T20:00:00.000-04:002010-12-15T01:37:29.352-05:00Lawyers Appt.<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Had a lawyers appt. today. He wasn't
much help! He is gong to write a letter and send it to my dad and
brother. We may have to sue for a quiet title but this lawyer was all
about money! I am not sure we chose the right one at all. At this
point, I am not sure about anything with a lawyer. We've surely
learned you can't trust the law much no matter what branch of law we
are dealing with. With everythng that has happened and nothing has
been done about it, I am convinced we live in a lawless nation. A
nation where you can get by with attempted murder, arson, stealing,
lying. We've been subjected to this over the years and it's hard to
bite, hard to chew and swallow, but there's NOTHING we can do about
it. One day, justice shall be served, the bible says. I guess it's
not up to us to see that these people pay for what they have done....
it's only taking our money and our energy. The best thing to do is
move on!
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
I had already written about the rest of
our day before I wrote about todays event, so I won't repeat it here.
Read tomorrows update! lol</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-3178475680458282992010-05-05T23:00:00.000-04:002010-12-15T01:33:59.331-05:00Update on our House and US<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
I haven't mentioned where we are with
the house in past post, so I am going to tell you here. As of today,
the insurance company is trying to give us as little as possible. We
do finally have a contractor. He actually is a good Christian man. He
is gonna work with us to see that the house gets fixed and that
somehow we will get enough money to move away. We will rent the house
out to someone and most likely move somewhere near Greenville, SC. My
son lives about 30 minutes away from there. Since it's a big city I
can again open another sign shop. I'd love to do a dual shop......
side by side Sign Shop/Fabric Shop. That would be awesome!!! We'll
have to see what happens. I truly wanted to leave SC but because
Taylor has only 1 year left to be homeschooled and wants to apply for
the Lottery Scholarship, she has to be in SC to get it. I am going
to look into this further to make sure this is how it works. She will
go to Cosmetology School and then go back to college to be a Child
Psychologist. She wants to take a few years off of studying so hard
before going to college, so Cosmetology will be good for her to
start.
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
We have a lawyers appt. in Charleston
next week. The initial cost to see him is 150.00. I thought
consultations was free???? Well hopefully he will be better than the
one we had, who kept saying what he was going to do for 3 mos and did
NOTHING!!! May G-d deal with him appropriately. We continue to tote
water from a nearby pond in order to flush our toilet. This truly is
getting old and I wonder how much longer I can stand it! We are
renting my friends, boyfriends new camper. We finally have air
conditioner! It's gotten so hot here, I told Chris the other day,
“Once the pond starts to dry up like it always does, we aren't
gonna have any water to use for the toilet”. He said, “Don't
worry, it will rain and keep it filled up”. I sure hope he is
right, OR we can get out of here soon!!
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Construction will start soon on the
house, so we have to finish getting things out the house. Do you know
what a chore it is to find energy to move everything when you don't
know what in the world you are working for? Since we have no
guarantees of no kids, we don't know what is going to happen. It
will definitely zap your energy.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
On a funny note..... Guess who I wrote
and told my lifes story to today? Give up? Glenn Beck!!!
hahahahahaha. Well... Chris and I love him. We listen to him on the
car satellite..... (as we don't have TV, can't even get the weather
here since we don't have any means of it) It will be interesting to
see if he writes me back. He does read all his emails they say.....
but.. he can't answer them all! I understand that of course. I did
ask him to pray for us :) Ok, that's the funny for today :)</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Oh yea.... I heard a few days ago that
my mom had surgery. Can you believe no-one called to tell me? Yea...
I can believe it. Oh well.....</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
I am happy to report...... as of a week
ago today, I haven't had any problems sleeping!! Thank you G-d so
much for helping me to sleep..... I know it's only YOU who could have
done this, as I haven't slept like this in about 7 mos now. How
awesome you are L-rd!!! You father alone are the maker of Peace....
and you alone are the only one who can give us that real peace that's
only found in YOU!!!</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-68154785566882276002010-05-02T22:30:00.000-04:002010-12-15T01:31:22.348-05:00Went to church with some friends<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
We were invited to go to church today
with a friend of mine. We none had good church going clothes to
wear.. but they said we could wear what we had. We all had on pants
and we actually blended in well as there were many there with pants
on. I felt so comfortable in there and the people were so nice to us.
It was their homecoming day. I don't usually go to these but we went
today. The food was so good and the fellowship was so nice. It was
good to be with a body of believers who were there to worship G-d and
not look around to see what everyone had on. :)</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-45928240207132805702010-04-28T00:00:00.002-04:002010-12-15T01:29:40.733-05:00Fell Asleep on my Quilting Friends During Retreat Meeting :(<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Well.... I was supposed to get up at
7:00am this morning to go meet Quiltaholic and a few other ladies for
the 2011 Quilt Retreat. Committee Meeting. I was having such a hard
time trying to sleep. I would go to fall asleep much like I always do
and be jolted from my sleep. It's like my mind doesn't want to turn
off. My heart races so bad it is scary. So I got up at 4:30am and
proceeded to get ready to leave my house. I packed some clothes in
case I wanted to spend the night with my son. Once I got into
Charlotte, I thought I was gonna get run over.... talk about rush
hour.. people were everywhere trying to get to work. I finally made
it to the Hotel where we were meeting. I was about 2 hours early. I
tried to sleep in the car but I kept falling asleep and having a
problem staying there. I again was jolted from my sleep. I am not
going to lie.... I layed there and cried.... and worried that if I
had a heart attack that no-one was with me and my son was the closest
and he was 1 hour away.... and then I said, gosh.... Q and them won't
be here for 2 hours.... and then I said.... “Sonja, you are gonna
be ok.... get out and walk around and get some air”. It was cold
there, so I went to TJ Max store and bought me a coat. I came back
and parked and I layed there and Prayed. It wasn't long and Q and the
other ladies got there and we went for our tour of the place. Wow
what a beautiful place it is. The ladies are gonna love it!
Afterwards, the lady (Monique) paid for our lunch. I had the best
salad there. By almost 5pm I was falling asleep at the table. How
embarrassing!!! I felt so bad about this... it was so uncontrollable.
You would have thought I had sleep apnea or something. After we said
our goodbyes I must have slept for an hour... in the car! My husband
kept calling to check on me. When I felt like I was gonna be ok, I
drove as far as Columbia and stopped at Red Robbins to eat dinner.
Afterwards I made my way home. I was so tired when I got home, I met
my husband and kids at the campground for showers and then went on
home. I fell right into bed.. I prayed the whole way home that G-d
would deliver me from all these sleep problems, whatever is causing
them. I hope that Quiltaholic and the rest of the ladies will
forgive me for being so tired and falling asleep at the meeting. I
honestly did NOT mean to :(</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-55076979438456250152010-04-26T20:45:00.001-04:002010-12-15T01:26:56.996-05:00Found a Citadel College Ring to give back<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
My Metal Detecting friend Christina
came over this morning for my husband to detail her Jeep in hot pink
and light pink.. She took me to dinner at Bojangles which I love and
we just got in our town. Aftewards, I took her to Sunset Park where
we found a bunch of sharks teeth laying on the bank. They are very
plentiful here but small. She and I had a great time! Then we went
over the Folly Beach Metal Detecting. I bet we weren't there 15
minutes and 4 ladies walked over to me and asked me, “Do you ever
find anything with that thing,” (pointing at my MD) I said, yes. I
showed them the two rings on my fingers my husband and I found and
then I proceeded to tell them about the time I found a high school
ring. It was gold and had a guys name in it. I told them about me
giving it back to the man and hoping I would have a good story for
the newspaper but.... come to find out, the ring had been stolen off
the mans dresser by his son whom had asked to wear it and was told
no! I said, well.. it wouldn't have been a good story telling on the
child and how embarrassing to the family, so I didn't get in the
paper. I said, I have been praying since then that someday I will
find another one and there will be a great story behind it. They
wished me luck and walked off. I bet not even 10 minutes later I seen
a Tiki Bar where people were standing around it getting drinks....
there were lawn chairs in front on the beach with blue umbrella's
over them. There wasn't someone in each of the chairs so I thought,
“What will it hurt if I detect between the chairs where there is
no-one sitting”? So I proceeded to do so. About the second chair I
came to, I got a signal which read 25-50 cents, or gold. I thought,
“Well, it must be a nice coin, or it's mixed up and it's only a
quarter”. I dipped down with my sand scoop to retrieve it and the
weight in the scoop was pretty heavy. I thought I had picked up a
rock on the beach somehow. I shook the sand loose and looking down in
my scoop, to my surprise, was a Big GOLD Ring! I can only imagine the
look on my face when I seen this thing. So unexpected! I was saying,
“Christina, Christina”.... but she had head phones on and
couldn't hear me. I looked over at this couple and the man had been
watching and I caught his glance and his smile as he put hit head
back into the book trying to act as though he had not been looking
but recognizing the excitement on my face. I started walking to her
and when she seen it, she hollored! What I had found was a GOLD
Citadel Military College Ring. From what I know about them now, they
cost between 700-800.00. I was so excited! I plan to give this ring
back. It had his name in it and where he lives. He doesn't live but
about an hour away from me. It's so funny how quickly I found this
ring after telling those ladies my story and how I longed to find
another ring. I sure hope this ring has a good story! Lol</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-61595988884248909572010-04-25T01:21:00.002-04:002010-12-15T01:23:22.443-05:00Finished Tournaments and Sheriff Dept Visits<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
The kids bowled 6 games today. Boy were
we tired of watching, lol. Afterwards we got on the road to come
home. We stopped off in Columbia at Red Robbins for dinner. If you've
never been, gosh it's the best biggest hamburgers you will ever
eat!!! I go every chance I get! When we started home from there I
started to feel sick. My heart started to race and I started to worry
that when we came home the house would be burn't. Anxiety attacks are
not good!!! I almost told Chris to pull off but I didn't and I
didn't tell him what was going on either. I finally got myself calmed
down and relaxed by praying and asking G-d to please help me. When we
got just about to where you turn off the main road onto the dirt road
we live on, there was a car ahead of us. It was a deputy. Can you
believe that? Talk about perfect timing.... it looked like we were
getting a police escort back home. When we got there, we discovered
it was the cop whom I had reported to the sheriff the other night.
This deputy had pushed my husbands hand out the way while he was
showing the deputy where the poop was on the floor where my brothers
dog had done it's thing. He had also told me to go to the
unemployment office the next day to apply for a job that since things
were not good back where I lived with my family that it was not a
good idea to try to run my business there. Anyway..... as the cop
made it up my drive, he stopped to talk and ask how we were. He said
he had no idea we had been going through as much as we were. He
apologized for what he had said to us. I accepted his apology but
told him he was totally wrong telling me to go flip hamburgers for
McDonalds when I had a business I was trying to get back off the
ground. Anyway, he was really nice and we talked for a while. He said
they would continue to patrol the area.

The dogs were left at a Kennel this
morning as we packed the car to leave for Simpsonville, SC for a
state bowling tournament. Both kids were in it and they will both
bowl teams today and then singles on tomorrow. Afterwards, my friend
whose kids we were bowling with asked us if we would like to go eat
Mexican food with them. We said sure. We went and ate and she even
picked up our tab for the food. How awfully nice!!! I had no idea she
was gonna do that. My heart was so touched! We had a great day and
the kids enjoyed it quite well as well. It felt good to get away for
a bit. Spent the night with my son in Spartanburg. It was so nice to
see him and spend some time with him.</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-83443222109001967322010-04-23T01:17:00.001-04:002010-12-15T01:19:04.342-05:00Rice Festival Weekend<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
We decided to go to the Rice Festival
here in town. I wanted to taste the rice from the rice contest they
had, IF it didn't have pork in it. We made our way down the street
where there were lots of vendors everywhere. The rice booth
unfortunately was closed, however I found out the rice had pork in
it, so with that said, we proceeded to look for some place to get a
snack. While standing around the vendor trailers, I noticed a cop who
had been at our house a few nights ago. Chris walked over to talk to
him and left us eating on a turkey leg, lol. I later joined him and
we talked to the cop about the video which I had given Officer Dunn a
week prior to this. He informed us the video was on it's way to
Columbia to the CID for them to do an enhancement on it so we could
find out who was responsible for hitting (D) over the head with a
brick. After our conversation , we ran into the Sheriff whom I had
never met. We told him everything that had been going on and I broke
down and cried right there in the street. I told him we had had no
help hardly with anyone trying to catch who did this to (D) and we
were about to go out of town and were scared to leave. He immediately
radioed in to dispatch to have our house watched the whole weekend by
doing ride bys and making sure to leave a card in the door so we knew
they had been by. He was very nice and told us to check with him on
Monday to let him know how things were and to never feel afraid to
call them out. We ended up leaving quite early.... as we only went
there to get a bite to eat.

<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
I think our energy was gone much of the
day. We woke up and ate a little bit and laid back down again. Chris
is hurting in his groin area. We don't know if he has pulled
something or if he has a hernia. He had one on the opposite side many
years ago and had to have surgery. I am praying he won't have one but
if the pain keeps up, he will have to see a dr. to find out. This
evening once it cooled off, I went to the truck and took a lot of my
sewing items out of boxes and put them in plastic bins we bought last
night. I don't know how long they will be on the truck, so I don't
want any of it to be ruined. One more step in the right direction.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Life is pretty boring... it's almost
like we have stopped living. This is more my husbands idea of staying
home than it is mine. Here shortly we are gonna have to go someplace
and stay a while. This carrying water back and forth, heating water
to do dishes, going to the campground for showers is starting to get
to me. I need something that feels normal at least for a little
while. Other than that, we are chugging along!
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
I don't want to forget how to live.
It's so true that when you look at your problems and go through the
struggles, day in and day out, you tend to lose track of time. You
learn to live in your present conditions not expecting things to
really change. Then one day, you realize how much of your time was
wasted. So.... today, I made a reservation at Disney World for Sept.
25th to Oct. 2nd. That sure put a big smile on
my children's faces!!! We will be able to get heavily discounted
tickets through our home school group so we can go. I guess we will
from here until then look so forward to that time getting here. I
know I can't wait!!! I am hoping my oldest son can go with us. If
not, it will be the 4 of us going. We are hoping Disney offers their
Free Dining program this year again. If so, it will greatly reduce
the cost of the trip. I was really surprised how cheap it was to stay
at one of their value resorts. It was half the cost of what it was
for us to go the first time.... but then,,, we have our oldest with
us and that made 5 of us in a room, so we had to stay at another
resort which was much more expensive.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Another thing happened today. There
were 2 cops which showed up next door at my brothers. He wasn't home
but his g/f was seen loading all her things into a vehicle. She had
some guy with her. We don't know what's up with that, it's none of
our business and we don't wanna know..... but things should be just a
tad quieter around here. Too bad he didn't let her have the dogs....
guess we'll fight some more about those dogs coming in the yard.
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Ok, back to work!!!</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
(Update: We never went to Disney, had to cancel cause we wanted to go to Wisconsin so we could stay away from here for 3 weeks) </div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-75109259125716380462010-04-11T17:45:00.000-04:002010-12-15T01:12:16.545-05:00Packing Today<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
We packed much of the day. Re-organized
the truck. We will start packing more of the house now and get it on
the truck. I hope to finish cleaning out my sewing room tomorrow and
see what needs to be thrown away, then I plan to clean the walls in
that room and then paint in there. Afterwards I will setup a
temporary place in there so I can sew some while we are living here.
I miss sewing so much. I need something to take my mind off some of
this stuff.</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-13834529910661631422010-04-10T20:00:00.000-04:002010-12-15T01:10:37.790-05:00Shabbat Shalom<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Shabbat Shalom .. we rested ALL day
long!!! Much needed rest!! It was cool here today and it felt so
nice. Thank you Father for giving us a restful Shabbat and a cool one
at that. We read the Torah tonight with the children and grilled out
hamburgers and had fresh salad with that. It was a nice Shabbat for
us.</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Father, we love you and praise you,
even in these hard times, for we know you have never seen your
children forsaken, never seen them begging for bread. Although we
carry water for our toilet, you have provided that water in the
nearby pond, or the rains you have sent so our buckets have caught
the water. We are so thankful for the small things as well. Thank you
so much too for the business you are sending to us. We find that
although my brother put out the signs that say No Trespassing that
our business continues to grow and people have started to come. We so
much thank you for looking out for us and we know, YOU are certainly
ALL we need in order for our needs to be supplied. Praise Your Name
Father YHWH, the G-d of Abraham, Issac and Jacob... We love you !</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-91579781094840790432010-04-09T13:07:00.000-04:002010-12-15T01:08:37.655-05:00Getting Text Messages Now<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
I got a text message from my mom. It
read, “I love you Sonja”. I got to wondering.... how can you just
say those words to people yet have shown the person such hatred? Just
words!!!! All I can think is guilt is talking.
</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-39811393856293053562010-04-08T14:00:00.001-04:002010-12-15T01:07:27.226-05:00Another promise of a letter sent out from a lawyer<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
We were gonna head to Charleston today
on our weekly run as always but we were gonna get another lawyer
since ours had seemed to string us along for 2 mos. Well as luck
would have it, OR what seemed like an answer from G-d..... Our lawyer
called bright and early this morning. He decided to send a letter to
my brother and my dad asking what their intentions were for giving us
back our land. I guess they should get that letter by the beginning
of the week. We really need some answers in many ways in order to
proceed. The one thing we do know now is we will fix the house (once
the ins. Company decides to give us some money) and we will rent the
house out. We are still living w/o water and air. At some point a
well will have to be put down but if WE do it then the mortgage
company may do a number of things.....
</div>
<ol>
<li><div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
may try to foreclose on the house,
cause we have withheld the house payment due to insurance company
dragging their feet.</div>
</li>
<li><div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
They may offer to put down a well
for us instead of us paying for it since the title company is at
fault for us not having a well on the property.</div>
</li>
</ol>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
So we'll see what happens. In the
meantime, we have our mortgage payments in an account sitting there.
Hoping things turn out for the best for us. I'm at wits end though
and really don't care one way or the other.
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Today also, my friend has offered to
rent us their 30something feet camper. We were gonna try and park it
in a campground but the local campground wants 360.00 a month for
rent to park there. So that would be 660.00 a month in a camper.
Just as well rent a house for that amount of money. So we have
talked about it and we might park it in our yard and hook up to the
outside pole. At least we can have air conditioner, cook and fill up
the reservoir to wash dishes and still use the campground showers. At
least we will have a place to cool off..... and can still be packing
up the house. There is so much to go through in the house. You never
know how much you have until you have to pack it all up!</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br />
</div>
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Still keeping the faith that somehow
all of this stuff is gonna work out..... heaven knows these problems
are too big for us!</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7026924043297659921.post-34378096847178972952010-04-07T20:30:00.001-04:002010-12-15T01:03:45.205-05:00What a joke for a Sheriff's Dept<br />
<div style="margin-bottom: 0in;">
Called Sheriffs Dept and left a message
for Sgt. Dunn to call us back. He did in fact call us. Chris informed
him that we had spoken to Reuben Carter and he informed us that he
himself had taken the report and would be the one to do the
investigation. His reply was, “That's interesting”. So Sgt. Dunn
had no idea he was supposed to do this? Sgt. Dunn asked that we put
the video on a cd and he would come by the house that evening and
pick it up from us. By the time we had dinner, got showers and I got
this file on a video, it was around 12:30pm. Chris called him anyway
and Sgt. Dunn came by the house to get the file. Chris informed him
of what he would see on the file. Sgt. Dunn told him he would turn
this file into the CID (Criminal Investigation Dept.) So we are
waiting till the beginning of the week to see if anyone responds with
some answers.</div>Dixieldyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17443172564259832986noreply@blogger.com0
